For many years the Pratt Fire
Department has been committed to a fire safety program called the
, which specifically targets our children.
One of the tools that has been used by the department has been a life-sized
costume.
The department's costume is no
longer repairable and thus no longer useable. We have been asked by the
Pratt City Fire Department to assist in raising funds for the purchase of
this costume. The cost of the costume is $1,600.00.

Tim Buckman was a Macksville Police Officer. Tim was
working in Stafford County the night of the May 4th, the very night an E5
tornado ravaged Greensburg, and continued toward Macksville. Officer Buckman
was out that evening trying to warn rural residents in the Macksville area
to take cover. His car was swept of the ground, and he received injuries
which resulted in his death on May 8, 2007.
Officer Tim Buckman's name will be added to the
National Fallen Officers Wall in Washington, D.C., during National Police
Week. Tim's family would like to attend the activities scheduled for the
National Law Enforcement Memorial during National Police Week in May.
December, Derick, Kylee, and Korbin would like to go. As you can imagine
there will be significant cost to attend. We wanted to help so have been
asking for your help!
